Many tattoo studios issue their own diplomas for students, but these are not officially recognized. The VEAN diploma, however, is a document recognized and validated in many countries around the world, with the option to verify its authenticity. It is important to note that the training takes place solely in an offline format, as mastering tattooing requires not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills, which can only be gained under the supervision of experienced mentors.

Before diving into the types of piercing training programs at VEAN Studio, you need to decide on your future path in the body art industry.

If you are starting from scratch, it makes sense to choose an introductory program for beginners who are not entirely familiar with the essence of the craft. For experienced specialists, we recommend opting for the most comprehensive package, which includes a full theoretical and practical base.

At VEAN Studio in Tallinn, you can choose from the following training programs:

  • Mini-Course: Includes basic anatomy, an overview of tools and consumables, and familiarization with equipment. In just a few sessions, you will cover the basics, which are enough to perform standard types of piercings.
  • Basic: Includes six sessions with a more extensive theoretical base, providing more information about tools and sterilization methods. You will learn to choose jewelry and understand sterilization and workspace sanitation processes. Practical sessions will cover ear cartilage, navel, and nostril piercings.
  • Standard: Ten lessons focused on working with high-responsibility areas. This course includes a deeper focus on anatomy and psychological interaction with clients. Complex piercings will be practiced in practical sessions. You will also learn to select appropriate jewelry.
  • Premium: Designed for experienced artists who wish to correct the mistakes of less competent predecessors. Our instructors will teach you how to fix improper piercings and help you become a professional piercer, unafraid of the work and able to approach the process creatively.



Consumables, tools, and equipment are provided for free. Every student will work with models. The training programs emphasize overcoming fear and dealing with unsuccessful works. This ensures that every artist understands the cost of mistakes but also knows that everyone can make them and should focus on addressing any issues responsibly.

What to Expect After
Completing the Training?

Upon completing the piercing training course in Tallinn and passing the exam, each student receives a diploma with several security features.

The diploma indicates the program you completed and its brief description. We will be happy to welcome particularly talented piercers to our team at one of the VEAN European studios.

You will be able to create and enjoy the results of your work – a well-paid income. If you are new to the body art industry, you will not leave empty-handed. Instructors will help you assemble a starter kit for your work, and all the works completed during the training will be included in your portfolio.
